In 2006, we embarked on a journey called EyeBuyDirect, a hopeful venture into the then-emerging world of e-commerce. With the uncharted waters of direct-to-consumer retail before us, our aim was modest yet earnest - to make quality eyewear accessible online.

EyeBuyDirect was a bootstrapped start-up which meant that our first marketing budget was exactly $0. We developed results driven highly effective marketing campaigns, coupled with never ending product refining and optimisation. Unfunded, every cent mattered, every click counted.
